Isabella Fazio
Editor in Chief
Isabella is a third-year law student from Vancouver, WA. She graduated in 2021 from The George Washington University, where she double majored in History and Political Science, and was a member of the Politics & Values Honors Program. At Notre Dame, Isabella serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law, and spent an academic year studying in London as a member of the London Law Programme. During her 1L summer, she worked as a legal extern at the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review in Portland, OR. This past summer, Isabella worked as a summer associate in the Kelley Drye & Warren New York office, where she looks forward to returning after graduation.
Oscar Serratos

Oscar is a third-year law student from Oglesby, IL. He graduated in 2023 from Illinois State University, where he double majored in Political Science and Legal Studies. At Notre Dame Oscar serves as Executive Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law, and spent a semester studying in London as part of the London Law Programme. During his 1L summer, he worked for the Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor in Chicago, IL. This past summer he worked for the Department of the Army, Judge Advocate General's Corp., Southern European Task Force - Africa handling disciplinary actions as part of Trial Defense Services in Vicenza, Italy. After graduation he will be returning to the JAG Corp. active-duty as a 1LT.
Rebecca Sonn

Rebecca Sonn hails from the sunny shores of San Diego, California. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majored in Economics and Accounting. Before starting law school, Rebecca worked at Deloitte in San Francisco and earned her Certified Public Accountant license. Her 1L summer was spent at a unicorn start-up, and her 2L summer was spent at Cooley LLP. After graduation, Rebecca looks forward to joining Cooley's general corporate practice in San Diego.
Jordan Farrell

Jordan is a third-year law student from Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Catholic University in 2022, where she double majored in Sociology and Politics. Jordan serves as the Executive Managing Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law, and spent an academic year studying in London as a member of the London Law Programme. During her 1L summer, she worked as a legal intern at the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania. This past summer, Jordan worked as a summer associate at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC
Vince Gullo III
Executive Notes Editor
Vincent is a third-year law student from Buffalo, NY. He graduated in 2021 from Duquesne University, earning a major in Economics and a minor in Political Science. At Duquesne, Vincent was a member and president of Delta Chi Fraternity, served as a columnist for the school newspaper, The Duquesne Duke, and participated in a semester abroad at the Duquesne in Rome program. Following graduation, Vincent earned a Master's of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where he concentrated in international law and international business and spent a semester abroad at HEC Paris. At Notre Dame, Vincent serves as the Executive Notes Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law and a Student Bar Association Class representative. He also is a member of the Notre Dame Community Development Clinic and served as a research assistant to Oxford University professor Johannes Ungerer while studying at the London Law Programme in Fall 2024. During his 1L summer, he worked for the New York State Office of the Attorney General in Buffalo. Following graduation, Vincent will work for DLA Piper in Chicago in their Private Equity group.
Lara Yusem Carstens

Lara is a third-year law student from Seattle, WA. She graduated in 2023 from the University of Washington with a double major in Political Science and Early Childhood and Family Studies, as well as a minor in Spanish. In her undergraduate studies, she was President of Alpha Xi Delta fraternity, Nu Chapter, and spent a semester in Seville, Spain, studying Refugee History and Migration Patterns. At Notre Dame, Lara serves as the Executive Online Editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law, spent a semester in the London Law Programme, and externs at the National Immigration Justice Center. During her 1L summer, Lara served as a legal extern for the Honorable Judge Rosa Silva in the Domestic Relations Division at the Daley Center in Chicago, IL. This past summer, Lara worked as a litigation summer associate for Thompson Coburn in the Chicago office. She looks forward to returning to the firm and Chicago after graduation.
Jordan Hunter

Jordan is a third-year law student from Dayton, OH. He graduated in 2022 from The University of Glasgow in Scotland, where he double majored in Central and Eastern European Studies and Politics, and was awarded a First Class Degree. He also completed an LLM at the University of Glasgow. At Notre Dame, Jordan serves as the Executive Articles Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law, and was a Hague Honors Scholar. During his 1L summer, he was a Dave Kennedy Fellow at the Institute for Justice. This past summer, Jordan worked with Rodney Dixon KC at Temple Garden Chambers in their offices London and The Hague. Outside of law, Jordan has an interest in ultra-running and curling.
